About Me

For 21 years I was a soccer player - right wing. One day my parents challenged me to train for a marathon which I did. I completed my first marathon in Medoc, Fance, in 2009. My finish time was 3.22 and I was ready for more.
I tried to combine playing soccer 4 times a week with my new passion for running. It was difficult but it was possible. I started attending more running races - 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon and won quite a few.
In 2010 I met my boyfriend, Mads, who had just signed up for Copenhagen Challenge. I was currious but not convinved I myself would be able to cope with such a challenge. I ended up buying a slot - and it turned out that I was the one who fell in love with the sport.
Since 2011 I have changed my life in so many ways ! How I feel about training, how I have learned to push my limits and how I dare to challenge myself with new goals along the way.
Triathlon has become such a grat part of my life - it has changed me as a person, it has added so many great people to my social circles and it has given me the chance to travel around the world while doing what I love the most (...) racing!
